Microboards Technology Company Profile

Established in 1989, Microboards Technology is a manufacturer and distributor of equipment and products for the optical media as well as the flash drive markets. This private company began in optical media before branching out into USB technology.

Microboards LogoMicroboards, which is headquartered in Minnesota, was originally an extension of a Japanese disc manufacturing company. Throughout the last two decades, the company grew on its own to include DVD, Blu-ray and USB equipment in its product lines.

More specifically, Microboards manufactures disc duplicators and publishers, flash duplicators and media recorders. They also carry and distribute blank recordable media as well as supplemental products to help the duplication process. These products come from brands like TASCAM, JVC, TEAC and Epson.

The Copywriter Flash by Microboards duplicates 7, 11 or even 15 flash drives at a time depending on the equipment model. Microboards’ USB flash duplicator writes data at approximately 10MB/s. Operating as a standalone machine, it requires no connectivity to your computer. The Copywriter Flash works by simply inserting the master USB alongside the blank drives in the subsequent ports and pressing the OK button.

Each USB drive operates separately from the other drives so that one or more can be removed at any point without interrupting duplication for those that are still plugged in. The USB duplication towers support formats that include FAT16 and FAT32 while also giving the option to wipe the drives clean of any formatting.
